There IS Life After Pharma!

What is life like after pharma? I asked that question in January, 2009 after more drug industry layoffs made the news. In this podcast, I talk with Marc Rigaux, one of the founders of After Pharma, an online resource and community for those seeking opportunities beyond the pharmaceutical industry.

Background
No doubt you know someone who has lost his or her job in the drug industry. Once all the drug company mergers have taken effect, you probably will know one or two or more people who are no longer employed in this industry. These people may get severance pay, but they may no longer be sought after by any company related to the drug industry.

AfterPharma was designed as a resource for members of the pharmaceutical community who are interested in exploring options beyond it. Whether that is a role in the broader healthcare industry, a position in a brand new industry, or starting a new entrepreneurial venture, AfterPharma is a place where people can get ideas an inspiration.
